Aviation started its operation in 1999 as the
Helicopter operator in Bangladesh, pioneering the
Helicopter service in Bangladesh. Best Air started
its journey as a freighter airline from the year
2000, obtaining an air operator certificate from the
Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.
Best Air
has been operating different type of freighter in
the domestic & International sectors. It currently
owns & operates a fleet of 2 HS-748 British
aerospace built aircraft; In addition Best Air
operates B-707, B-727, B-747, L-1011 freighter
internationally. Best Air entered in to an agreement
with Astral Aviation in Kenya to support its UN
activities in southern Sudan in 2006.
Best Air
obtained license in 2006 from CAAB to operate
passenger service in the International & domestic
sectors. Best Air would start with a fleet of two
B-737 aircraft to operate in the regional routs like
Bangkok, Calcutta, Colombo, Jaipur, Kathmandu, and
domestic routs Chittagong and Sylhet. The second
phase includes Dubai, Doha, Hong Kong, Jeddah,
Jakarta, Kuwait City, Manama and Manila. The date of
launching the flight will be mid July 2007.

& ensuring safe International standard flight for
the customers.
Best Air
been allocated with 5Q as 2 letter code by IATA,
"BEA / Best Air" by ICAO. Best Air is the member of
SITA with the ID : DACBAXH.

Air has also developed a strong base in the total
aviation business and offers any range of aviation
services including Aircraft Sourcing, Emergency,
Evacuation of patients, VIP Aircraft mobilization
etc.
It has an airport
office under Boarding Bridge # 6 at Zia
International Airport, Chittagong
Shah Amanat International Airport, Cox's
Bazar Airport, Sylhet International Airport and
Jessore Airport.
